Creating a backup of your account

Although we do a backup of our servers, it is in your own best interest and responsibility to do a backup of your account.  You may choose to do this daily, weekly or monthly depending on how frequently your files are updated.

Using the Backup wizard in your cPanel makes this a very easy task.  You will choose which files you want to backup and save.  The wizard will notify you when the files are finished.  Once you are notified, go to your cpanel and download thebackup files to store either on your computer or another safe place.

Sometimes the backup wizard does not backup all the content in a database.  To ensure that you have all the content you should go into your phpadministrator and do a backup and download in there also.  Save as a cvs or mysql file for the future uploading if necessary.
